The successful completion of the High Potential Development Program (HRD) 2024/25 not only marks the end of an intensive learning journey for 13 committed employees from six countries - it also provides an example of how Hödlmayr puts targeted further training into practice.
Over a period of around ten months, the participants went through seven practice-oriented modules at various international locations of the company. The focus was on key topics such as
- Communication & presentation
- Project & change management
- Leadership & conflict management
- Stress management & self-organization
The programme was specifically designed not only to strengthen professional skills, but also to promote personal development. Many participants reported growing self-confidence, a more confident use of the English language and the development of a supportive, international network.
The kick-off in October 2024 took place as part of a multi-day team building event at Campus Alps in Hieflau - an ideal starting point for forming a strong team from a heterogeneous group. The crowning finale was the presentations of individual project work and the ceremonial presentation of the certificates by CEO Johannes Alexander Hödlmayr.
HRD as part of a comprehensive further training strategy
The HRD program is part of a systematically structured further training landscape at Hödlmayr. This ranges from specialist training courses to development programs lasting several months and is aimed specifically at different professional groups and career levels.
The aim is to create practical learning opportunities that not only have an immediate impact on everyday working life, but also open up long-term prospects - both for employees and for the company. The programs follow a clear principle: further training should enable real development.
In this context, Hödlmayr is seen as a learning and growing company that focuses on future orientation, personal responsibility and an active growth mindset. Here, investing in people is not seen as a duty, but as a strategic success factor.
