Vehicle tracking made easy: our logistic control system enables our customers to access all important information about their vehicles in real time with their personal access data. Furthermore, processes and actions can be initiated directly by the customer via the Logistics Control System (LCS). The option to intervene directly means that unforeseen events and special cases can also be responded to quickly.
Platooning
Partially autonomous driving is the future for transport and commercial vehicles. In this case, trucks are virtually coupled to one another so they can travel synchronously in a column with a guide vehicle at the front at a close distance – without endangering road safety. The advantage of such a digitally networked convoy is that it enables slipstream-optimized driving. This can result in considerable fuel savings and thus a significant reduction in CO2.
TIS
Transport Information System (TIS) is the name of the transport management system we use. We decided to develop a corresponding system in-house. Thanks to this in-house development, we can offer our customers maximum flexibility and also optimally realize and implement all their logistic requirements.
Through a customized logistics solution, which was realized on the basis of a modern technology stack, expansion and adaptation for the purpose of process optimization can be achieved promptly and at reasonable cost. In addition, TIS offers a variety of possibilities for automating processes, especially in the digital connection of customers using EDI or REST API.
EDI connections
EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) is the electronic exchange of business documents. Our EDI connections are the interface to all our relevant OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers or vehicle manufacturers). In concrete terms, this means that 100 percent of all data can be processed electronically at Hödlmayr. In this way, error-prone manual processes can be avoided, and large amounts of data can be processed in real time. This forms the basis for digital cross-company processes and their transparency.
