The external infrastructure and S-Bahn timetable limited the provision to one train per day. Thanks to the expansion of sustainable rail transport to a total of five tracks, two block trains can now be provided and loaded simultaneously.
Most of the construction work took place during the summer holiday period in July and August, so regular services were not disrupted. Four weeks of construction work made a major contribution to achieving the sustainability goals. Among other things, we want to double our rail share by 2030.
