Digital basic education: Hödlmayr supports school project in the district

| Team & Organisation

Digital education is an important core competence that should be taught at an early age. This is why we are again supporting the award-winning school project "cody21", which aims to provide basic digital education at primary schools.

"We want to make an active contribution and give our primary school children access to digital education," emphasises CFO and Board Member Robert Horvath. Currently, hardly any children of primary school age are taught this specific area in a playful and responsible way. "This is about equal opportunities for all children and, in connection with this, about the long-term competitiveness of the business location," Horvath continues.

The core of the cody21 school project is a streaming platform with interactive learning content that is suitable for children and teaches basic digital education in a playful way without placing an additional burden on the teachers working at the schools. Moreover, no additional infrastructure is required at the schools to access the platform. In the district of Perg, eight schools are participating in the project so far.

"As a company with regional roots, cody21 offers us an excellent opportunity to fulfil our social responsibility in the important area of education," emphasises Johannes Alexander Hödlmayr, General Manager at Hödlmayr Logistics Austria.
