In 2017, this category of truck already accounted for 65 per cent of all the kilometres subject to tolls. The German Federal Freight Haulage, Logistics and Disposal Association (BGL) calculates that the annual toll expense for trucks in this class with go up from its current level of EUR 12,960 to EUR 22,440.
