New Managing Directors at Hödlmayr Rail Logistics

SCHWERTBERG. As a multimodal vehicle logistics specialist, Hödlmayr combines and optimises the use of all means of transport. The company's defined focus in this endeavour: the continuous expansion of the “International Rail Logistics” division. Liudmyla Tarasenko and Georg Schiefer recently joined the operational management team of Hödlmayr Rail Logistics GmbH. Together, they are now responsible for the subsidiary based in Schwertberg.

Liudmyla Tarasenko has been working for the Hödlmayr Group for eleven years. Prior to that, she gained experience in various logistics areas with a focus on warehouse logistics and sea freight container logistics. Her career at the Mühlviertel-based automotive company, where she started in 2010 as a transport manager in Ukraine, led her to Austria in 2016 as a dispatcher with a focus on international rail. Starting in 2018, she served as service centre manager for transport at Hödlmayr Rail Logistics. The 35-year-old holds a master's degree in logistics management and also studied law in Kiev for several years. Liudmyla Tarasenko lives with her family in Arbing in the district of Perg.

Georg Schiefer has been responsible for the position of service centre manager for product management at Hödlmayr Rail Logistics since January 2020. Before that, he worked at Lenze Austria in addition to many years in sales at Geofelt Handelsgesellschaft mbH. Already at a young age, the now 32-year-old laid the foundation for his future career by choosing the commercial college programme “Logistics and Freight Forwarding”. This was followed by a Bachelor's degree in “International Logistics Management” and a Master's degree in “Digital Transport and Logistics Management” at the University of Applied Sciences in Steyr. Georg Schiefer lives in Linz.
