Our motto is “people in logistics” and the human factor forms the focal point of our activities. A one-sided fixation on nature conservation that excludes economic and social considerations would be insufficient to match this aspiration. Therefore, we seek to achieve the goal of sustainable development through a holistic approach that transcends all individual procedures.
For us, growth primarily means qualitative expansion with the simultaneous, efficient use and intelligent networking of every means of transport. These principles guide and shape the actions of the entire Hödlmayr workforce and contribute to the continual improvement of quality and environmental standards within the group.
Hödlmayr also upgrades its value added chain according to environment-friendly criteria by means of projects such as photovoltaic electricity generation, logistics optimisation through the avoidance of empty transports, ongoing eco-training for its drivers, investments in low-emission trucks and the integration of environmentally compatible means of transport such as trains and ships.
The topic of sustainability is currently on everyone's lips. But we will not just talk about it, we will act. Therefore, we are glad to announce that our employee Markus Formann is now certified CSR & Sustainability Representative by TÜV Austria of our company.
“Our sustainability strategy takes into account the requirements of our stakeholders, such as customers, banks and employees, as well as the ambitious goals of the EU's Green Deal. Our sustainability goals and activities are aligned with these, consistently pursued and transparently communicated" says Formann.
