At Hödlmayr, the term MOVE stands for a continuous improvement process (CIP) philosophy that involves the entire workforce.
The active design of framework conditions that allow employees to bring in their own ideas, upgrade processes and use synergy effects, not only results in enhanced motivation and commitment, but also improvements in many areas of the company. In addition, the task is to place customer requirements in the spotlight and on the basis of this orientation, facilitate ongoing optimisation.
Since the launch of the MOVE initiative in 1995, more than 7,200 ideas and procedural improvements have been implemented and inter-departmental MOVE circles have been initiated for the increased effectiveness and efficiency of the value added process.
As a managerial instrument MOVE is part of everyday working for the company management. Accompanied by the MOVE mascot “Movee” we seek to additionally motivate the workforce through internal prize competitions and initiatives.
