MOVE – at Hödlmayr, this term stands for the philosophy of the Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) with the involvement of all employees.
The active design of framework conditions, which enables employees to bring their own ideas, optimize processes and exploit synergies, results in both the increase of employee motivation, their commitment and improvement in many areas of the company. In addition, it is important to focus on customer needs and to enable permanent optimization based on these needs.
Since the initiative was established in 1995, more than 7,250 ideas, process optimizations and interdepartmental MOVE circles have been implemented to improve and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the value creation process.
I started working at Hödlmayr as an office worker 23 years ago. For almost 20 years, I’ve been working as a dispatcher in Győr. It’s amazing to see how a family business has transformed into a corporation. In Hungary in particular, a handful of people and a few trucks have grown into an operation with more than 300 employees and about 130 trucks in the last 20 years.
In my profession, I particularly appreciate the variety as well as my colleagues. Together, we manage to make a lot of difference day after day!
