 Official launching in Romania of the daughter company - Hoedlmayr-Lazar Romania, took on 24th of September 2004, a day that is, from now on, another milestone in the expansion of the Hödlmayr Group.
Two years ago, the company was founded in Romania as a Joint-Venture between Hödlmayr International (51%) and International Lazar Company (49%). In this short period of time, the Romanian facility is 100% in operations, managing to reach an impressive client portfolio and the investment objectives.
Having a participation of 150% above the expected guests, shows the good image of the company, not at regional level, but also national and international level - We want to use this opportunity to thank to our business partners for the honour of being our guests.
The event started with a press conference – held in Bascov at Hotel Star - , attended by the most important newspapers and “auto”profiled magazines in Romania, eager to find out how the company has evolved in the last two years and which are the future development plans.
After the press conference, the media representatives were led to the Hoedlmayr – Lazar Romania facility in order to take the pulse of what vehicles logistics means and the investment efforts.
The event organized for the business partners, local authorities and Transport Minister Representatives - started shortly after the press conference – managed to draw the attention of the guests that were impressed by the investments made in the storage area, production facilities, IT system - investments in amount of 5,5 million EUR - and the professionalism of the employees.
The participation of Kommerzialrat Johann Hödlmayr and the Vorstand members: Johannes Hödlmayr, Christine Hödlmayr-Gammer and Gerald Schinagl, beside the Managing Directors from the other Hödlmayr sister companies, reinforced the strength of the Hödlmayr Group and the support that is given to the young Romanian company, that managed in such a short time to build a professional facility ready to satisfy all the clients at high standards.

These were the words of Mr. Johannes Hödlmayr, that draw the attention of the participants at the event – guests and press representatives – revealing the long run strategic thinking of the entire group that is oriented to deliver the best logistics services in order to satisfy the group clients all around the globe.
