Hödlmayr International uses a Vehicle Tracking System (VTS) which offers two essential core functions: Firstly, it is used as means of communication, just like a mobile phone and secondly, it supplies the positioning data of the trucks via GPS altogether with data of the loaded vehicles as well.
Based on this positioning data, our key customers have the possibility, through our system, to get information about the current position of their vehicles. Moreover, there is a variety of additional information on the customer vehicles in question, available via an online portal.

Examples of available data are:
- The current position of the vehicle
- The exact commencement time of the transport.
- The estimated time of delivery
- With successfully delivered vehicles, the delivery time
- Information concerning the vehicle itself (type designation, colour, engine number, vehicle identification number, etc.)
- Information concerning works done on the vehicle (e.g. deconservation, interior cleaning, installation of a radio, tyre changes, etc.)
